LAMP Code Wrangler

Frogneck Web Solutions seeks an experienced freelance web application developer specializing in the LAMP stack for a regular gig. We are looking for a PHP expert who understands how to organize an application into clean, object-oriented, code. This work will morph into a full-time position, but if you value your freedom, we understand.

Position includes developing custom web applications, enhancing and extending proprietary and open source applications, assisting to define requirements and estimating time.

Position is primarily onsite at our Brookfield location, although some flexibility to work from home or another location is possible.

Requirements

Qualified candidates must demonstrate strong development skills in the following technologies:

• PHP 5 (including objects & classes)
• MySQL 5.x (including stored procedures)
• Javascript / jQuery

Availability of at least 25 hour/week between the hours of 8am and 5pm is required.

Candidate must be familiar with subversion or another source-control application. A high attention to detail is an absolute must. Prospective candidates must have a strong understanding of web standards and semantic markup. Understanding of AJAX technologies is required as well. Experience with the Zend framework and server a definite plus.

This is not a web design position. We are looking for a software development expert, and design skills are not a requirement.

xHTML & CSS Wizard

Frogneck Web Solutions seeks an experienced freelance web developer for a regular gig. We need an xhtml / css perfectionist who knows how to get more done with less code. This work will morph into a full-time position, but if you value your freedom, we understand.

Position includes creating quality html and css from existing creative assets, creating static websites and dynamic websites by integrating our proprietary CMS code. While creative is provided, some design talent may be required to fill in the gaps.

Position is primarily onsite at our Brookfield location, although some flexibility to work from home or another location is possible.

Requirements

Qualified candidates must demonstrate strong development skills in the following technologies:

• xHTML
• CSS
• Javascript
• PHP

Availability of at least 25 hour/week between the hours of 8am and 5pm is required.

Candidate must be fluent in Photoshop and Dreamweaver. A high attention to detail is an absolute must. Prospective candidates must have a strong understanding of web standards and semantic markup. Familiarity with object-oriented development, MySQL, jQuery, and Adobe Illustrator, or Adobe Flash are all pluses.

Strong design skills are a bonus, but not required. If you can't draw, we still want to hear from you.

Frogneck Web Solutions, a web development firm focused on supporting the marketing/advertising industry, is seeking a full time Account Executive to establish and maintain new long term relationships with its agency clients to grow its content management client base.M

You will be calling on advertising, marketing, graphic design, and other creative firms,helping them make their web projects more successful, more profitable, and a smoother process than ever before. Its these long-term relationships which will make both you and your clients more money.

Primary Duties Include:

• Generate new and repeat sales by providing product presentations and demonstrations
• Generate Leads via networking activities, telephone, and referrals
• Determine client requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
• Inform and educate clients on new software features
• Convert leads into sales
• Contact clients following sales to ensure on-going client satisfaction
• Other duties as required

You will be supported in your role with:

• Expense budget
• Mileage Reimbursement
• Sales materials
• Dedicated project manager to answer technical questions and hand off the project to after each sale

This is a contract sales position. Successful candidates earning potential uncapped.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Additional Requirements:
